Umlaute blenden Eintrag komplett aus - Hampfi - 20.10.2015

Ich habe dass Problem, wenn jemand einen Eintrag auf meinem Gästebuch mit einem Umlaut macht, dann wird der Eintrag zwar dargestellt aber ohne Inhalt. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://run-transporte.ch/kontakt/gaestebuch/index.php">http://run-transporte.ch/kontakt/gaestebuch/index.php</a><!-- m -->
Es ist komisch dass der gesammte Inhalt ausgeblendet wird und nicht nur die Umlaute...
Das Problem muss an meinem mysql liegen...Ich habe den mysql eingestellt auf utf_8_general_ci
Es kann aber sein dass der default Wert auf dem Servertrotzdem latin1 ist.
Hast du da eine Idee wie mein Problem lösen kann? Besten Dank
